Cryovac® Lid.it

Cryovac® Lid.it trays are all specifically designed for MAP lidding applications. They comprise a range of foam and rigid trays and supports which are based on different raw materials and polymers such as PS, PVC or PP. Depending on customer needs and requirements the trays vary in composition, color, depth and size. Also, the sealing and barrier properties of the trays are specifically designed to satisfy shelf life requirements for all fresh food packaging applications.

Of course the trays are particularly suited to be sealed with Cryovac® flexible lidding materials such as LID2050, 3050, 3051 and EOP.

Barrier Foam Trays (BFT/EFT)

Cryovac® thermoformed polystyrene barrier foam trays are part of the Cryovac® LidSys™ full system for MAP packaging of fresh foods.

• With their high oxygen and water vapour barrier, Cryovac® trays safeguard product freshness.
• Consistent properties and precise dimensions guarantee top performance.
• Available in a vast choice of formats and colours.
• Pre-padding option speeds output.
• Easy-opening thanks to a peelable barrier liner (EFT only).

Slicepak® Plus Barrier Foam Supports (BFS)

Cryovac® BFS rigid, flat foam supports, with barrier liner, are specifically designed for the new patented Cryovac Slicepak® Plus System for sliced products.

Cryovac® flat barrier supports offer improved process flexibility for a wider product range and optimal freshness presentation.

Rigid Trays (BRT-UBRT)

Cryovac® BRT and UBRT are a new generation of barrier and ultra barrier rigid trays specifically designed for Cryovac® LidSys™ full system for MAP packaging, in particular for "Case Ready" applications.

They are available in different sizes and colours (upon request), padded and unpadded.

• BRT trays are designed for Case-Ready applications (meat and poultry) with high oxygen. They offer extended shelf-life in combination with Cryovac® EOP lidding film.
• UBRT trays are designed for low and high oxygen applications (processed meat or fresh meat with long shelf life requirement) and are microwaveable for re-heating and defrosting. They offer extended shelf-life in combination with Cryovac® EOP and LID2050/3050 lidding films.
